We also offer a range of additional material options, including uPVC, and composite materials to suit your preferences and project requirements.

Pressure-treated timber has been infused with preservatives under high pressure to help protect it from rot, insects, and moisture damage. It’s ideal for outdoor use, especially in contact with the ground or exposed to the elements—like fencing, decking, and retaining walls.
Non-pressure-treated timber (also called untreated timber) has not undergone this process and is best suited for areas where it won’t be exposed to harsh conditions. While it may be cheaper initially, it typically won’t last as long outdoors without additional treatment.

Yes, we do recommend painting or staining pressure-treated timber, but with some timing and prep in mind.
While pressure-treated timber is more resistant to rot and insects, painting or staining adds an extra layer of protection against moisture, UV rays, and weathering. It also enhances the appearance and extends the lifespan of the timber.
However, you should wait at least 4–8 weeks after installation before painting or staining. This allows the timber to dry out properly, as it’s often installed with a high moisture content. To test if it’s ready, sprinkle a bit of water on the surface, if it absorbs quickly it’s ready for painting or staining.

All job site waste including timber offcuts, rubble, old fencing, soil, green waste etc. is carefully sorted and either responsibly disposed of or recycled wherever possible.
We work with licensed waste management providers, such as Monmouthshire Waste Transfer Station and other accredited facilities, ensuring all waste is handled in line with environmental regulations.

Yes, we’re happy to use water from a water butt (rainwater storage) when it’s suitable for the work being carried out. Using harvested rainwater is a great eco-friendly option, especially for tasks like planting, turf laying, and general garden maintenance.
However, for certain processes, such as mixing concrete or using pressure washers we may still require a mains water supply to ensure the correct consistency and performance.
